Bras here, bras there; bras, bras everywhere!

CANCER DE MAMA CLINIC is finished for another year, and was a total success.

For those “wondering”…….We were able to fit 461 breast cancer survivors over the three days of the clinic with prostheses, bras, and (where needed) wigs and hats. Some also received cosmetics and clothing.    Last year we had 342 ladies attend, so it was quite a jump for us.

In addition to women from our local towns we also had folks from Tepic, Compostela, Santiago, Acaponeta, and Ixtlan del Rio in Nayarit and from Puerto Vallarta, Tomatlan and Guadalajara in Jalisco.

We also had over 250 volunteers from all over the Jaltemba Bay area, not just our RV Park. I cannot give you an exact number because a few just walked in, rolled up their sleeves and did what needed doing.

We were especially happy that so many Mexican ladies were able to help this year, both in the clinic with fitting and data entry, as well as in the beauty shop, the sewing area, and the kitchen.

In addition, we served over 890 bowls of soup to clinic participants, their families and the volunteers.

Congratulations to everyone!
